| WHO DETERMINES THE WINNERS |
| A panel of judges including webmasters, web professionals, and others will look at sites and determine based on content the best sites. Fans will choose 4 awards, which it is the responsibility of the webmaster to provide a link to vote on this site for those four awards including (Every nominated site has a chance to win based on fan votes only): - Fan Choice Award for Best Messageboard - Fan Choice Award for Most Updated Site - Fan Choice Award for Best Webmaster - Fan Choice Award for Favorite Website - Best Multi- Site Holding Webmaster Voting for last for around two weeks and winners are scheduled to be announced on or near August 8th . |
| The Fan Source Awards were born from Fan Source Productions, now the Fan Source Network as a part of NJK Entertainment which has brought such fansites to existence such as Usher-Rising.com, B2Kzone!, GurlPower, R&B Kings.net, and Destiny-Fulfilled.com to name a few. In the next few years we plan to continue our quest to provide quality entertainment based sites and more. Our 1st Annual Awards were held last August and were a major success recognizing over 25 fansites and awarding top fansites like Love Destiny (A Destiny's Child Fansite), Simply Craig (Craig David), and others for their hard work and dedication. The Fan Source Awards were set up to recognize the best fansites and entertainment based websites on the net. Just like the artists webmasters & webmistresses cover on their sites hard work and dedication deserves to be recognized. Just like Usher dropped Confessions and stayed on top of the game for almost two years and won numerous awards including Grammy's, MTV Video Music Awards and shutting out the Billboard Music Awards, fansites who honestly promote the artists just like their labels bringing fans the latest news, images and more, sometimes the only websites that you can actually get updated information from need to be recognized. So therefore, we have the Fan Source Awards. OUR MISSION ! Need we say more, let's keep it real this is our 1st Event, our intention is to provide a stable annual award show just like the Grammy's or BET Awards recognizing the best over the year. Modeled after many award show we will nominate select sites based on their content, popularity, and even based on fan nominations. This year 20 awards will be given out including 5 fan choice awards which fans will decide who takes home the awards. Numerous sites are nominated this year. Each year the top nominated sites much like you see now will be displayed on each page much like you see in press releases for major awards like Grammy Award nominations. The awards are hosted this year at R&B Kings.net to start out, as the event grows it will move to it's own domain and more webmaster interaction will be permitted.
